Frequently asked questions & Terms of Service

◆ How does the commission process work?
My application form for waitlist is currently open - please note it is not first come first serve. Please contact me via Twitter DMs/email if you have a commission request or would like to ask for a quote.1) I will invoice half payment up front for design/sketch phase.
2) I will send progress images of initial design with base colors. Please provide all change requests by the end of this phase.
3) I will request 2nd half payment, and will line and color. I will not make any changes except for very minor exceptions at this phase.
4) Finished design art (and ref sheet, if included) provided to you!
*** Please note that if there is a few weeks between the waitlist accepting time and the start date, I will request a $100 deposit to reserve a spot in line. This fee will be used as a credit in the first payment and is 50% refundable should the waitlist spot be canceled by the commissioner.◆ What types of character/outfits do you not work with?
I don't have enough knowledge in heavy armor/mecha, elderly characters, very muscular bodies, body horror, and furries to produce a good design for these categories.◆ What are your working hours?
I typically work on designs between Tuesday - Friday. Please also note that rush commissions are completed under the understanding that the commissioner is responsive to my updates. Rush commissions typically take around 1 week to deliver, but can be delayed if I do not receive immediate feedback.◆ What is your refund policy?
If I have not started a piece or a substantial amount of time has passed with little/no progress, then a refund can be issued.◆ Do's and Do Not's
- DO have an idea or solid idea of what you would like for me to design. Additional fees would incur if the concept substantially changes.
- DO have payment on hand or within a few days when applying to my design commissions.- DO NOT ask me to design exactly like specific games or other designers. I am happy to work with you and your concept, but I would like to maintain my own design elements when working on each project.◆ Crediting
Please link back to my twitter @shiyeVT when posting artwork related to my design such as the reference sheets, model, etc. Do not claim any artworks completed by me as your own artwork. Please do not commission me for ideas and use my design as inspiration for your own draft and not credit.◆ Silence Fee
Because I am a one-person studio, posting WIPs and final products are my primary forms of advertising. If commissioner requests that WIPs/final product cannot be posted longer than 3 months past the completion date, there will be a fee depending on how long the period of non-post is.◆ Regarding Reselling
I strongly do not prefer my designs to be resold, but please message me if you are considering reselling my design. The price cannot be more than what you paid for, and the buyer cannot be a supporter of AI art/NFTs/racism/anti-LGBTQ.◆ Regarding Additional Usage
By commissioning me, you consent that the PNG artwork that I deliver may be used in a potential future zine of my character/outfit designs. Please DM me if you would like to discuss opting out. Additionally, you consent that commissioned work will not be used for the purpose of blockchains, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), or anything related.
